The party will be Hawaiian style but the benefits will accrue to Children’s Memorial Hospital when Chicago real estate experts from RE/MAX Vision, 7528 W. North Ave., Elmwood Park, Ill., hosts its 7th Annual Luau/Pig Roast from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 12. The event is designed to raise funds for Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago.
Tickets to the Luau, which is open to the public, are $50 per person and include a roast pig dinner, island beverages and live entertainment, plus the opportunity to show off your tropical talents in Hula Hoop, limbo stick and Mai Tai contests. Reservations can be made in advance by calling 312-994-6300. Tickets will be sold at the door.
“The Luau has become a summer highlight for our office and has helped us raise close to $60,000 for Children’s Memorial over the last six years, so we just had to do it again,” said Jason Palermo, broker/owner of RE/MAX Vision and its sister office, RE/MAX Vision II, which is located at 350 W. Ontario St., Chicago. “It’s a great way to celebrate summer while we support the outstanding work of a great hospital.”
The RE/MAX Northern Illinois network raised more than $240,000 for Children’s Memorial in 2007, making it one of the hospital’s largest benefactors. The 3,600 RE/MAX associates in northern Illinois are pleased to support those fund raising efforts through a variety of activities as they continue to lead the residential real estate market.
