Program Developed by RE/MAX Northern Illinois Real Estate Network
The students at Bethany Lutheran School, 1550 Madaff Road, Naperville, Ill., will get an exciting introduction to hot air ballooning when the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon and its crew visit the school on May 11. The visit is part of an on-going interactive educational program developed by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network.
The 250 students and staff at Bethany Lutheran will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history, the scientific principles involved and a demonstration on how the balloon functions.
The outdoor program will begin at 9 a.m. when all students will watch as the 75-foot-tall balloon is inflated on the school grounds. Later, a presentation on the fundamentals of ballooning will be presented in the school gymnasium.
The visit of the balloon and its crew is being sponsored by Lisa Stover of RE/MAX Action, Lisle, Ill.
