RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon In Yorkville On July 18 To Help Raise Funds For Special Olympics

The RE/MAX hot air balloon will make a special trip to Yorkville, Illinois, on July 18 in support of the Kane County Special Olympics 2009 Family Fun Fest. This day-long event offers fun for the entire family and also raises vital funds for Special Olympics programs in Kane County. The balloon is an airborne goodwill ambassador of the RE/MAX northern Illinois real estate network.
The fest will be held at American Legion Post 489, located at 9054 U.S. Hwy. 34 in Yorkville. The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will be on hand from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., weather permitting, offering tethered balloon rides at a per person charge of $1, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics. The balloon visit is being sponsored by Terri Jeffries of RE/MAX All Pro in Sugar Grove, Ill.

The fest starts at 9 a.m. with a Poker Run for motorcycles, followed at 11 a.m. by an antique car show and 15 different games for children.
