Agents from two RE/MAX Chicago real estate organizations will square off for their second annual softball game at 6 p.m. on Sept. 26 to raise funds for Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago. The game will be played at the Itasca Park District Softball Complex, 650 N. Rohlwing Road.
The defending champions from RE/MAX Destiny in Elk Grove Village, Ill., will battle a combined team from RE/MAX Vision of Elmwood Park, Ill., and RE/MAX Vision 212 of Chicago. Each player will make a contribution to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) to benefit Children’s Memorial, and spectators will be asked to make a donation.
“We had a great time last year and were able to raise a substantial sum for CMN and Children’s Memorial. Not only that, we have an outstanding team and really like our chances to win again this year,” said Angie Palazzolo, broker/owner of RE/MAX Destiny.
Jason Palermo, broker/owner of the RE/MAX Vision offices has other ideas.
“We’ve added some talented players and expect to see a different result this time, but either way, we know the real winners will be the children who benefit from the outstanding work of Children’s Memorial,” he said.
Following the game, both teams will celebrate with a party at Venuti’s Ristorante in Addison, Ill.
RE/MAX is the exclusive real estate partner of CMN and a Platinum Sponsor of Children’s Memorial Hospital, which is the beneficiary of all funds raised by Chicagoland RE/MAX offices.
The 2,800 RE/MAX associates in northern Illinois real estate market are pleased to support the efforts of the hospital through a variety of fundraising activities as they continue to lead the Chicago metropolitan area in residential real estate.
