RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon To Visit To Belding School In Chicago Real Estate Neighborhood Old Irving

Students at Belding Elementary School in the Old Irving area on Chicago’s Northwest Side will receive a visit from the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon on April 15 in conjunction with the school’s science night. The balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.

The 250 students at Belding School, 4257 N. Tripp Ave., will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon will visit more than 40 schools this spring in northern Illinois.

The program will be presented at 7 p.m. outdoors on the school grounds, weather permitting, but can be moved indoors if required. The balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height if the program is held outdoors. If the presentation moves indoors, the envelope is inflated with cold air so that students can walk inside it.
