Chicago Real Estate Agents Win Honors from RE/MAX for 2009 Home Sales Achievements

Three Chicago real estate agents and one agent sales team at RE/MAX offices in the city recently received special recognition from the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network for ranking among its year-end Residential Top 20. Each year, the network gives special recognition to its Top 20 residential agents and Top 20 residential teams, as well as its Top 3 Commercial agents and teams. A team involves the combined efforts of two or more licensed agents

The sales team led by Linda O’Donnell of RE/MAX Signature, 2901 N. Clybourn Ave., ranked 5th among the Top 20 residential teams in the region, and it also captured the annual award given to the sales team closing the most residential transactions. O’Donnell also received a special award for her work with distressed properties and her foresight in anticipating the importance of this market segment.

In addition, as broker/owner of RE/MAX Signature, O’Donnell accepted two other awards at the April 9 presentation. Her office was honored for closing more transactions in 2009 than any other RE/MAX office in Chicago, and it was recognized with a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Outstanding Citizen Award because it was the second largest fundraiser in the Northern Illinois Region. Funds raised for CMN in Chicago benefit Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago.

The RE/MAX agents in Chicago who achieved a Residential Top 20 ranking for 2009 were:

• Kristi Gunther, RE/MAX Exclusive Properties, Lincoln Park , ranked #10;
• Robert Padron, RE/MAX Cityview, 6430 N. Central Ave., ranked #13.
