RE/MAX Northern Illinois Real Estate Network Honors Broker/Owners in Dixon, Rock Falls and Sterling

The broker/owners of RE/MAX offices in the Rock River Valley communities of Sterling, Rock Falls and Dixon, Ill., recently were honored by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network with the RE/MAX Premiere Market Presence Award.

This honor is presented to broker/owners who have done an exceptional job in helping RE/MAX achieve Premiere Market Presence (PMP) in a given market area. To reach that goal, 35 percent or more of the listed properties sold in that market must be RE/MAX listings.

Brandy and Jason Whelan of RE/MAX Homes Unlimited Dixon, 1220 S. Galena Ave., Dixon; Dave and Tracy DeVries of RE/MAX Homes Unlimited, 1201 First Ave., Rock Falls, and James Cesarek, Tim McCaslin and John Rosengren of RE/MAX Sauk Valley, 110 E. Lynn Blvd., Sterling, Illl., received PMP Awards for 2009 performance.

RE/MAX achieved a 36 percent share in the Dixon area, 71 percent in the Rock Falls market, and 64 percent in the Sterling market last year.

Cesarek, McCaslin and Rosengren were named winners of the prestigious Broker/Owner of the Year Award for 2009 from RE/MAX Northern Illinois in recognition of their success attracting and retaining agents and continuing to build the office into a leading competitor in the local market. Cesarek and McCaslin acquired the office in 1999, and Rosengren joined them in 2002. The office currently has 23 licensed associates.

RE/MAX Sauk Valley also was saluted for completing 451 sales in 2009, making it the office in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network outside the Chicago metropolitan area with the most closed transactions during the year. The office also won this award for its 2008 sales performance.

At the same time, the sales team led by Tim McCaslin was honored for closing 102 transactions last year, which was more than any other RE/MAX team in the network based outside the seven-county Chicago area.
