RE/MAX Northern Illinois Real Estate Network Honors Grayslake Broker/Owner

Rich Capoccioni receives "Above the Crowd!®" award

ELGIN, Ill., May 21, 2010 -- Richard Capoccioni, broker/owner of RE/MAX Center, 100 Atkinson Road, Grayslake, Ill., was recently presented with the prestigious “Above the Crowd!®” Award by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network.

The award is given to affiliates who have made an outstanding contribution to the RE/MAX network. Capoccioni was one of only three affiliates to receive the award this year.

He earned the award for his accomplishments since acquiring RE/MAX Center in 2005. His success has enabled RE/MAX to achieve a 35 percent market share in the community, and the office has the highest per-agent sales productivity in its market area.

Under Capoccioni’s leadership, the office has become a strong contributor to its community in many ways, but especially through its annual Easter egg hunt that now draws several thousand participants from around Lake County and beyond. Capocioni inaugurated the egg hunt 12 years ago, before becoming broker/owner of RE/MAX Center, and has expanded it in the years since he acquired ownership of the office.
