RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon Visits Wadsworth School

ELGIN, Ill., June 4, 2010 -- Bill Baker, left, and Pat Hall of the RE/MAX hot air balloon team tell students at James Wadsworth Elementary School, 6420 S. University Ave., in the Woodlawn area on Chicago’s South Side about the material used to make the envelope of a hot air balloon. The crew and balloon visited the school on May 21 to present an interactive educational program developed by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network. The program covers various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved. It can be presented either indoors or outdoors.
