RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network’s Hot Air Balloon Program Visits Kingswood Academy in Darien on July 19

ELGIN, Ill., June 29, 2010 -- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will pay a visit to Kingswood Academy, 133 Plainfield Road, Darien, Ill., on July 19 when the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.

The students at Kingswood Academy will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon has visited more than 40 schools this spring and summer in northern Illinois.

The program will be presented at 1 p.m. in the school gymnasium to 60 summer students and the staff. The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be inflated with cold air, permitting students to walk inside it. The presentation then will conclude outdoors with a demonstration of how the balloon basket and burners operate.
