For two decades, Rieke’s administrative skills and dedication have helped the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network to grow into the leading residential real estate sales organization in the Chicago area and the northern third of Illinois. The network currently has 120 offices and 2,400 agents; in 2009, it closed property sales of more than $6 billion.
Rieke currently serves as legal administrator at the RE/MAX regional headquarters in Elgin, Ill., and has held a variety of legal and operational posts during her 20 years with the company.
The Distinguished Service Award is a prestigious award given on special occasions to RE/MAX Northern Illinois affiliates. This is the first time that the award has gone to a member of the regional staff. At the awards ceremony, Rieke was praised for her work ethic, knowledge and overall professional demeanor.
“Our success as an organization is in large part a function of attracting outstanding professionals to join us as broker/owners, agents and members of our staff, and Debbie is a perfect example,” said Jim Merrion, regional director of the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network.
