ELGIN, Ill., Aug. 16, 2010 -- Two RE/MAX agents from the metro Chicago real estate market and one based in Rockford recently earned spots in the Wall Street Journal’s 2010 Top 400 Real Estate Professionals ranking, which is based on 2009 sales activity. Those recognized were the top 100 agents and top 100 teams in two distinct categories: most transaction sides closed and highest closed sales volume.
Jane Lee (above center) of RE/MAX Top Performers in Lake Bluff, Ill., ranked 66th among sales teams in closed sales volume and 67th based on transactions closed. Last year, Lee closed 292 transaction sides representing $74 million in sales volume. Lee’s team has held the number one ranking among teams in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network for the last six years. Teams involve the efforts of two or more licensed agents.
John Murray (above left) of RE/MAX Key, Rockford, Ill., was ranked 24th in transaction sides, closing 302 last year.
Jim Kennedy (above right) of RE/MAX TEAM 2000, Orland Park, Ill., and his Kennedy Connection team, ranked 68th in transaction sides with 287 closed sales.
