RE/MAX Valley, Realtors Celebrate Grand Opening In Roscoe

ROSCOE, Ill., Sept. 13, 2010 – RE/MAX Valley, Realtors®, Inc., will celebrate its grand opening from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, with an open house, refreshments, a chance to meet the staff, and balloons. Big balloons -- including, weather permitting, the signature RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon, which will take guests on a tethered ride above the office at 4761 Bluestem Road in Roscoe.

The balloon rides will give community and real estate leaders from Roscoe and Winnebago County, as well as clients, friends and other guests of RE/MAX Valley, Realtors, a first-hand look at the big picture. As far as the eye can see are the communities that Valley Realtors served for a quarter-century. They're the same communities that the newly branded RE/MAX Valley, Realtors, will continue to serve as the economy recovers and real estate renews its growth in this part of Illinois.

"We're excited to be part of the RE/MAX Northern Illinois Illinois real estate network," broker/owner Johanna Koslofski said. "We want our guests to know that our rebranding under the RE/MAX banner represents a renewed commitment not only to our clients, but to the entire community. Our affiliation with RE/MAX, which is recognized worldwide as a mark of quality in real estate, will help us serve the community better."

A sign with the firm's new name has already been erected at its office. That's an emblem of market leadership, Koslofski added, because nationwide RE/MAX associates tend to lead the industry in production, experience and professional designations.

But affiliation with RE/MAX means much more than a new sign over the door.

"It represents the next step for us," Koslofski said. "As Valley Realtors, our presence in the market was well established. Now, as RE/MAX Valley, Realtors, we're connected to a much wider organization whose resources and expertise will be available to us."

Going forward, Koslofski and the 14 other agents of RE/MAX Valley, Realtors,

plan to avail themselves of the RE/MAX organization's many professional development opportunities. Those opportunities include advanced training courses, continuing education, conferences and conventions, all designed to help agents build their business and deliver top quality service and expertise to their clients.

The grand opening the office is another milestone in Koslofski's eventful career. She entered the real estate business in 1974, founding Valley Realtors in 1985. Since then she has built the office into a thriving real estate company serving Roscoe and Winnebago County.

As a long-time resident of northern Winnebago County, Koslofski also enjoys long record of civic involvement in her community. Among many other positions, she has served on the Winnebego County Zoning Board of Appeals and the Mactown Living History Board, which oversees the historic remains of Winnebago County's earliest settlement.
