ELGIN, Ill., July 15, 2011 -- A grand opening celebration on June 29 marked the official debut of RE/MAX 1st Choice in the Illinois real estate market. Located at 130 W. Lafayette St. in Ottawa, broker/owner T. Haeberle and six sales associates welcomed 75 guests, among them Ottawa Mayor Robert M. Eschbach and Boyd Palmer, president of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The celebration featured a cookout and, according to Haeberle, provided a perfect opportunity to let key members of the Ottawa-area business community know about the additional resources that his office will have at its disposal now that it is affiliated with the RE/MAX brand.
“RE/MAX provides such a wide range of high quality support in terms of technology, training, advertising and marketing, and it’s a story we are excited about telling to both business colleagues and clients,” he said.
Haeberle brings 32 years of real estate experience to his new affiliation, and that experience was a major reason he chose RE/MAX.
“The longer you spend in our industry, the better you understand the importance of combining the right resources with your own hard work. We love the resources that RE/MAX delivers,” Haeberle said.
“On top of that, we are optimistic that the real estate market in the Ottawa area is ready to rebound. So far this summer has been our busiest in the last four or five years. We’re hopeful that it is a sign of things to come.”
