Now home to 38 agents, RE/MAX Vision 212 is temporarily located in the former RE/MAX 212° office at 1700 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, but Palermo reports that he plans on securing a new and larger office space in the same neighborhood by the end of this year.
“We’re adjusting to the changing realities of the real estate marketplace,” said Palermo. “Because of improved technology, a growing number of agents prefer to do most of their work from home offices and are better able to cover larger geographic areas than in years past. My goal is to align our office structure with the way agents work today.”
To do that, Palermo left behind a large office in the city’s River North neighborhood, where RE/MAX Vision II had been located, and now hopes to add two or three additional locations in Chicago over the next two years.
“Having three or four smaller offices, most of less than 2,000 square feet, in strategic locations will work better for our agents and their clients than will a single large office,” said Palermo. “Convenience and efficiency are the attributes we’re committed to delivering with this new strategy.”
At the same time, Palermo stresses that a successful real estate office still must provide the vital support that agents need to maximize their productivity and client service.
“We are moving our outstanding support team to the new RE/MAX Vision 212 office, including our marketing team that does so much to help agents get listings sold in this very challenging sales environment,” he said.
In addition to RE/MAX Vision 212, Palermo also owns and manages RE/MAX Vision in Elmwood Park, Ill.
